There is a story behind the name…and it's fun! The working title of the studio was originally 710 Ceramics, based on our sister space up front, the beloved 710 Collective. But a close friend asked our owner Tony about the name and suggested that he make it a bit more personal. So he thought about it and started brainstorming some ideas, and naturally thought about his father—Uncle Paul—who has always been so supportive of his ceramics pursuits and was very excited and supportive about him and the team opening this new studio (insert sarcasm). All that being said, it just felt right to name the studio after him. So Uncle Paul's was born, and the rest is history. Oh, and our first and best slogan is: World's Best Toothbrush Holder—because every Christmas, when Uncle Paul receives his annual beloved Christmas mug, he holds it up and always says: “thank you so much, another toothbrush holder!”

More importantly, this studio was born out of our passions for creativity, community and family. It's an opportunity for a group of friends to build something together and nurture a beautiful creative and supportive space. We're here to push the limits of our artistic curiosity, not only with clay but in many different mediums. We're very excited to get this started, and look forward to you joining us on this adventure!

"I'm not sure what will come of this experiment, but it's my hope to make it enjoyable."
